G7 Idealliance analysis

We offer all the tools needed to comply with the quality control wishes of your customers

One of many options with MeasureColor is determining if the print process complies with G7 Neutral Print Density Curve (NPDC) specifications. MeasureColor has two views to give guidance: the Overview and the NDPC-detail view.

MeasureColor’s G7 Overview shows the quality for each of the measured NDPC elements for Black in and for CMY and indicates which one needs correction to comply with G7 specifications. The NDPC-detail view shows all deviations and errors in weighted delta-L and weighted delta-Ch. The clear interface makes it easy to understand how you are printing and what to correct to comply with the G7 specifications.

When you measure a G7 job in the Process Control module for ink-zones, MeasureColor automatically switches to G7 Gray Balance check mode. The interface shows a clear overview of Gray Balance and Black ink behavior for mid-tones, the so-called Highlight Range, for HR-CMY and HR-K patches.

When MeasureColor analyses G7-specific color patches, the Spot view shows G7 metrics like weighted delta-L and weighted delta-Ch. MeasureColor’s GrayFinder technology shows the deviation from a perfect neutral gray balance in CMY.
