Color drift correction with HP Indigo curve-on-curve correction.
MeasureColor 24.2 simplifies the operator’s tasks. It can fix color drifts on HP Indigo presses in just a few seconds. By measuring a color bar, MeasureColor can indicate if the machine is still operating within its calibrated state. If not, clicking the Optimize button will export a correction LUT (LookUp Table) directly to the DFE of your HP Indigo. Simply rerun the job with the correction LUT, and you’re back on track, all within a matter of seconds. With MeasureColor 24.2, performing a curve-on-curve correction is super easy, thus enhancing productivity.

Save a single color measurement as a color target.
To ensure accurate printed results, it’s essential to use the correct color targets. These targets are typically established before printing. However, it’s not always possible to determine the exact printable color targets initially. When commencing a print run, the goal is to match the color target as closely as possible, but sometimes the characteristics of the printing surface can affect the achievable target. Use MeasureColor to refine the color during printing and achieve the closest match to the color target. Once satisfied with the result, save this new color as the reference in MeasureColor Reference Manager for future print runs. This process is both easy and precise. Export the new target as a CxF file to share with other stakeholders in the supply chain.
The orange color in the example was adjusted to an ∆E of 3.09, but it still falls outside the acceptable tolerance range. This is the closest match that the press operator could achieve. By clicking the ‘Save ink as reference’ button at the bottom of the screen, you can store the solid and dot gain measurements as color targets for future jobs.

Single measurement export as PQX.
PQX stands for Print Quality eXchange, an industry standard for exchanging print quality measurement data between printing companies and print buyers via a standardized file format. This PQX standard is described in ISO 20616-2 and helps streamline reporting and data analysis on print quality among stakeholders and across different software platforms. MeasureColor Production 24.2 allows the export of one measurement as PQX.
Multiple measurement conditions in one print run.
With MeasureColor Production 24.2, you can combine two measurement conditions in one job. For example, you might want to measure some colors with a 45°/0° spectrophotometer and others with a multi-angle sphere spectrophotometer.
MeasureColor Reports patch.
To fully support the added measurement conditions in MeasureColor Production, we released a patch of MeasureColor Reports with version 24.2.39. While the older versions of MeasureColor Reports 24.2 are still working with MeasureColor Production 24.2, we advise updating your MeasureColor Reports server to the latest version.
