The next step in narrow web and digital printing color control
Wassenaar (NL), 09 March 2022: Colorware BV and Odesyo, a French technology startup, have decided to join forces to create a complementary solution integrating Colorware’s MeasureColor technology with Odesyo’s Smijet spectrophotometer technology.
Odesyo’s Smijet allows continuous and real-time spectral measurements, typically for narrow web and digital printing. The inline spectral measurements across 100% of the width of the printed surface introduces both speed and flexibility. The interaction with MeasureColor software indicates how to effectively set up the printing press to ensure print process stability in just a few seconds. MeasureColor helps press operators interpret color deviations quickly and correct them accordingly. This reduces make-ready time and waste, and facilitates process improvement and color standardization.
