NEW in MeasureColor 21.1

GMG OpenColor Connector

You want to match the right color targets, and therefore customers’ expectations on the press. Import color targets from your GMG OpenColor projects directly in MeasureColor Reference Manager. The digital target color is now available for your print jobs. Press operators use these color targets as references during the print run, leading to faster makeready and better color uniformity across different print runs. Printing to the numbers results in a better visual match. You need GMG OpenColor version 2.4.2.21 or later. Please check with your local GMG representative.

MCX Technology

Print suppliers often use outdated or older color targets, and it is usually unclear what the precise color quality expectation of the brand owner is. With MCX – MeasureColor eXchange technology – you not only share color targets but also print production tolerances, measure positions, and measure device settings. It’s actually the complete quality guide for press operators. Store MCX-files in a central location and make them available to various print suppliers. They’ll import the MCX-files in their version of MeasureColor and print according to the clients to the specific requirements and quality tolerances.
